Chestermere has a sound, waves reverberate through our neighbourhoods and give texture to our lives. This experimental project was a collaboration with Louw Verwoerd, a film and television sound recordist in Chestermere who creatively captured the soundscape of our community. Experience the fine details of ordinary places many of us explore and pass by. Amidst Vol. 1 offers three movements that invite us to listen to our city, and in turn to, perhaps, listen more intently to our neighbours.
